Support 4 Progress was founded as a self-help service consisting of local black parents coming together to talk about their concerns regarding breakdown of the family unit, work unit, school and their community.

We have now evolved into a Counseling Approved Training Centre providing professional counseling and quality training opportunities. See our Aims & Objectives.
 
Young People Services

We provide courses for young people aged 13-16, developing skills such as Empathy, Honesty, Communication and Listening Skills. We also provide young people support groups – both single sex and mixed sex, discussing issues such as:

  • Bullying
  • Relationships with parents and siblings
  • Relationships with friends
  • Transition from primary to secondary school
  • Peer pressure
  • Living around gangs and violence
  • Issues around communication in schools
